I learned to bake with my grandmother and it started with tea brack. I vividly remember the formica table, the mason Cash bowl, the Campbells loose leaf tea - (which had to be lukewarm to properly soak the fruit).
I continue the tradition, soaking the fruit for the brack in Barry's Tea for about 24 hours before mixing and baking the brack. All you need to add is the cuppa and some good Irish butter! |
